ARTIST STATEMENT
All of the works shown on my website were entirely created by me.
Each individual piece of art is produced and diligently handcrafted by my self.
They are my own individual creations made out of my own personal creativity.
My Sculptural and Decorative pieces are  individually hand-built,  hand-sculptured,
hand-designed,  hand-painted and hand varnished.  It involves a lot of handiwork,
however,  it's an exciting creative process.

To express my creative visions,
I am currently using mixed media and the medium of fine art papier mache
& paper pulp.   I absolutely love and enjoy working with these amazing and
extremely  versatile Paper Sculpture techniques.  Paper sculpting gives me
total artistic freedom to create whatever my imagination conjures up and  yet
still make beautiful and unique pieces of art.   It also allows me  the flexibility
to produce original  artworks  in a wide variety of styles.

My creations are not meant to be replicas and  it's not really supposed to imitate,
represent  an image accurately or in a realistic likeness because my artistic
style sometimes goes beyond some of the restricting forms,  proportions,  composition
and perspective rules.  My intent is more about conveying emotions,  feelings,
and  a sense of beauty and  adventure.   I try to create art in my own style which is
imaginative,  fascinating,  artistic,  colorful and beautiful.  It' s my way of expressing
my fantasies.  My artworks are simply my own personal interpretations of  various
things  that have visually moved and thrilled me on so many levels.

My inspiration comes in many forms and from many different places and people.
Ever since I can remember I have always been very passionate about all forms of art,
the Visual Arts,  Arts and Crafts and  Fine Arts including  Renaissance,  Modern and
Contemporary art.   My work is mostly  inspired by Various Art Movements.
It  is also an expression of my deep love and appreciation for nature.  I am
constantly  inspired by my travels,  There are so many beautiful  things and
stunning creations on our planet Earth.

Additionally,
I often incorporate elements of my Greek,  Italian,  African and French  Heritage
into my projects.  it's wonderful to integrate my own diverse cultural backgrounds
as a colorful  palette for my art.  There are endless sources of inspiration in my life.

I am so happy  to share my love of art with you all
Thank you for your interest in my work.
